A Lesbian Student Pushed Her School To Change

Last year, an openly lesbian student in Northern California, Taylor Victor, was forced to leave school after the officials have notified that wearing her t-shirt "Nobody knows I'm a lesbian" was a violation of the dress code of the institution, up to say that it was also a promotion of sexuality, gang violence and personal choices. But after she sued two school officials, things are finally back to normal.

Briana Popour had worn on many occasions her T-shirt «Nobody knows I'm a lesbian» in her school without this poses problems and yet Briana was suspended from her school in South Carolina for a few days, before they change their mind.

In Oklahoma, a young lesbian student has been expelled from the Southwestern Christian University after it was discovered she had married a woman.

During a pep rally at Patrick Henry High School in San Diego, Rebeca Arellano and her girlfriend, Haileigh Adams, were elected homecoming king and queen.

ACLU, the American Civil Liberties Union, reminded, by the means of a letter, that the schools of Utah don't have the right to ban or disallow gay and lesbian couples to attend school functions because this is unconstitutional.
