Austrian Constitutional Court

 

No, Austria has not legalized equal marriage. The Austrian Constitutional Court has ruled in favor of same-sex marriages. It follows a complaint filed by a couple of women. But the new government is opposed to LGBT unions.

Georgia Could Ban Marriage Equality

Georgia (I specify that it is the European country and not the US state) could actually soon rule on the equal marriage ban in its constitution.

This is certainly the wish of Prime Minister Giorgi Kvirikashvili who announced his intention to amend the text to describe marriage as a union only between a man and a woman.
