A Scottish member of Parliament asked the British government that the borders of Scotland be opened to all Ugandan LGBT people who would be persecuted by new anti-gay laws recently approved and signed by Uganda's President Yoweri Museveni.
The Scottish government, which hopes to legalize marriage equality soon, asks schools, and in particular the Catholic schools, to change their curriculum in order to include the same-sex marriage.
According to Equality Network, the Equality Network’s Glasgow Action Group and the Scottish Transgender Alliance present extracts from short films that explore Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender identities in Scotland.
The films focuses on Minority Ethnic LGBT and Disabled LGBT intersectional people and include their ideas on how services can better include them. A discussion about including intersectional identities in services will follow the screening.
