President Obama Endorses The Equality Act

The bill, introduced earlier this year in Congress by Democratic Sens. Jeff Merkley, Tammy Baldwin, Cory Booker and Rep. David N. Cicilline, would amend the 1964 Civil Rights Act to prohibit discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity.
