That's it, it's official, Northern Ireland is the only country in the UK not to have legalized marriage equality yet as the Isle of Man has just done it!
To celebrate the LGBT history month, a rainbow flag flown over the buildings of the National Assembly for Wales in Cardiff Bay and Colwyn Bay from 10 February.
The Church in Wales will decide whether it should perform marriages between persons of the same sex and therefore launched a consultation to make a choice.
Even if marriage equality is not legalized in Ireland yet, the government will allow a recognition of same-sex couples who got married in the other countries of the United Kingdom where equal marriage was approved, and the recognition could then be extended to marriages performed in other countries.
