Anna Paquin And Prejudice For Bisexuals

Written by

The actress Anna Paquin speaks openly about the prejudice against bisexuals.

After her coming out as a bisexual last April and her recent marriage with Stephen Moyer, the actress revealed in an interview with the magazine W that "no one had ever asked me about being bisexual before."

"There is a lot of prejudice against us but the more people talk about it, the less of a deal it will be.

"Who people choose to sleep with or spend their lives with shouldn’t matter, not that anyone particularly cares who I’m attracted to."

One of the character in True Blood will have a same-sex story in the next series. But even if the show already had LGBT characters reports said the character is someone previously thought of as straight.

So what do you think about it? Do you feel it is harder for bisexual to come out than for gay people? Specially in the movie industry? Or is it the same thing?
