Batwoman, the long-awaited series with a lesbian super-heroine, will soon begin. After The CW ordered a pilot in January, the network has picked it up for a full season.

For now, no release date has been communicated by The CW. All I can tell you is that the series will start during the 2019-2020 season. So we’re going to have to wait a little longer.

Nevertheless, here is the first teaser trailer, a 20-second clip shared by The CW on Twitter:

The upcoming show will center on the DC Comics lesbian superhero Batwoman who is played by lesbian actress Ruby Rose.

Variety also reports that the series will be written by a woman, Caroline Dries, who had previously worked on “Smallville” and “The Vampire Diaries”.
