There will be more episodes for this second season. Runaways will have 13 episodes, three more than for season 1. And there is a good chance that this season 2 will premiere in November 2018.
Marvel's Runaways is an adaptation of Brian K Vaughan and Adrian Alphona's comic book series. Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage then developed it in a TV series. The story follows six childhood friends: Alex (Rhenzy Feliz), Nico (Lyrica Okano), Karolina (Virginia Gardner), Gertrude (Ariela Barer), Chase (Gregg Sulkin) et Molly (Allegra Acosta) who discover that their parents are members of a kind of evil sect called Pride. They will do everything to prevent Pride from executing their plan thanks to their sometimes superhuman abilities.
For season 2, we should see all the actors who played in the first season back, especially those who play teenagers. I mean the story is focused on them so that will make sense.
We will be particularly interested in the story between Karolina and Nico that started during this first season and that could develop. Watching the last episode, I discovered that Nico is not insensitive to Karolina's charm.
Will James Master's character come back in season 2 as Jason Victor's father? The executive producer of the series refused to answer the question. By cons, Jonah will still be there.
With the renewal of Runaways for a second season, we already know that the future of two queer female characters is guaranteed.
