James Franco Announced Lesbian Vampires In His Remake Of "Mother, May I Sleep With Danger?"

Actor-writer-director James Franco is currently working on a remake of the TV film "Mother, May I Sleep With Danger?" which was released in 1996 and whose main role was played by actress Tori Spelling, and Franco said this remake will include lesbian vampires.

The film is already scheduled to be released in June and will premiere on US TV network Lifetime. You will see a college-age woman who surprises her mother with a mysterious new female love interest. It is presented as a "vampire love story that brings a whole new meaning to 'sleeping with danger'".

James Franco will also star in the movie with Ivan Sergei, who appeared in the original version, as Tori Spelling, who in the 1996 version was playing the role of the daughter and who will play this time the mother.

As now lesbian characters are scarce on TV, we can at least enjoy those.
