The actresses Katherine Heigl, whom you know in particular for her role of Izzie in "Grey's Anatomy", and Alexis Bledel (Mad Men) could play soon a lesbian couple in "Jenny's Wedding", a movie written and directed by Mary Agnes Donoghue.
The film will follow, according to Imdb, Jenny Farrell (Heigl) who has led an openly gay life - except with her conventional family. When she finally decides to start a family and marry Kitty (Bledel), the woman they thought was just her roommate, the small, safe world the Farrell's inhabited changes forever. They are left with a simple and difficult choice - either change with it or drown.
Currently, the team tries to raise the necessary funds by March 28 to finish the production of this film thanks to a campaign launched on Indiegogo.
"Jenny's Wedding is a movie I'm so proud to be a part of," Heigl tweeted. "Love the story and the characters. Hope you will too!"
"The producers are just as passionate about @jennys_wedding as I am, but need your help to make it happen," she later tweeted.
If the goal is reached, "Jenny's Wedding" should be released towards the end of this year 2014.
