"Carol," a new lesbian movie with actresses Mia Wasikowska and Cate Blanchett, will be released in 2013.

The film's producer, Elizabeth Karlsen, said that "Carol" will be "a wonderful and deeply moving story which keep you in suspense."

"Carol," which is an adaptation of the novel "The Price of Salt" by Patricia Highsmith aka Claire Morgan, tells a love story between Therese and Carol in New York in the 50s'.

Therese, played by Mia Wasikowska (pictured left), who you've already seen in "The Kids Are All Right", is a designer who is employed in a store because she didn't find a job as a designer.

She meets Carol, played by Cate Blanchett (pictured right), who is on the verge of divorce. A passionate love story begins but Carol is afraid of losing custody of her children because of this relationship.

For Karlsen, it is time that LGBT stories are part of public cinema. We can only agree with her and I can not wait to see this film!

The shooting is currently scheduled for February 2013 in London and New York.
