We now know that the highly anticipated lesbian movie "Carol," starring actresses Cate Blanchett and Rooney Mara, will be released in fall 2015.

In a Q&A interview held recently with director Todd Haynes and producer Christine Vachon, we learn that the film should be released next fall. We have to wait a bit but here are some pictures from the shooting:

"Carol" is a film based on the novel “The Price of Salt” by Patricia Highsmith which tells the story of Therese and Carol in New York in the 50s'. Therese (Rooney Mara) is a designer who is employed in a store because she didn't find a job as a designer. She meets Carol (Cate Blanchett), who is on the verge of divorce. A passionate love story begins but Carol is afraid of losing custody of her children because of this relationship.

We also find in the cast of this movie actresses Carrie Brownstein and Sarah Paulson.
