The LGBT 69th Golden Globe Awards

Yesterday took place the ceremony of the Golden Globe and as announced two weeks ago, many LGBT-themed movies were nominated and we have had some victories.

Jessica Lange (American Horror StoryAmerican Horror Story) won the Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Series, Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television award.

Meryl Streep won the Golden Globe of the Best Performance by year Actress in a Motion Picture - Drama for her role in Iron Lady directed by Phyllida Lloyd, openly lesbian.

Christopher Plummer won the Best Performance by an Actor In A Supporting Role in a Motion Picture award for his role in Beginners playing a man who comes out as gay.

Modern FamilyModern Family won the Best Television Series - Comedy Or Musical award and answer to anti-gay protesters who set up shop across the street from the site of the Golden Globe:

"America is a great place, speech is free and you're able to expose the fact that you're an idiot," said Eric Stonestreet, who plays Cameron.
