"Tell It To The Bees" is a lesbian romance based on the 2009 Fiona Shaw's novel of the same name.

The story takes place in the 1950s in a small British town. It follows the romance between a single mother who is dealing with the breakdown of her marriage, and a female doctor who returns to her hometown to take care of her late father's patients.

Holliday Grainger and Anna Paquin will play the two main roles. Grainger (pictured on the right), whom we had seen in Tulip Fever and Cinderella will interpret the single mother. Openly bisexual actress Anna Paquin, whom we know especially for her role in True Blood, will play the female doctor.

Henrietta and Jessica Ashworth wrote the script for this film which will be directed by Annabel Jankel.

Now, no release date has been announced. "Tell It To The Bees" is shooting in Scotland.

Know that the film is already being backed by the British Film Institute, Motion Picture Capital, Creative Scotland, and Film Constellation as well as many producers and production companies which means that the movie will be released in theaters.
