I first talked about this queer movie when it premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2017. Two years later, here it comes!
Directed by Tali Shalom-Ezer and written by Joe Barton, this drama follows Lucie (Ellen Page), the daughter of a man who is on death row, who falls in love with Mercy (Kate Mara), a woman on the opposing side of her family’s political cause.
The encounter and love between these two women will challenge their beliefs.
This beautiful lesbian romance will be released in the United-States on July 5, 2019, and in the United Kingdom on May 17, 2019.
Both actresses wanted to share this story for several years and Lionsgate that deals with the distribution has done the right thing. “My Days of Mercy” will be released in VOD on our favorite platforms so we all gonna be able to watch it.
The film will be out in a few theaters too. It should be possible to see it in Los Angeles, New York, and London.
