"Xena" Star Lucy Lawless To Play A Lesbian Again In "Agents of SHIELD"

Written by

Lucy Lawless, that we know of course for her role as the warrior princess “Xena”, will play a lesbian again in the season two of “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D”.

She will play a S.H.I.E.L.D. Veteran, Isabelle Hartley, called in to help Agent Phil Coulson rebuild the American espionage organization. But the character of Isabelle Hartley hides many mysteries and it is not yet entirely clear if this character will be a lesbian.

According to 2 Paragraphs2 Paragraphs, based on the original Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. comics, Lawless’ character Isabelle could very well be the one that dated the late Victoria Hand.

Writer and producer Jed Whedon neither confirmed nor rejected this idea by saying that "there’s always a chance."

We should know more soon since “Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.” will premiere on September 23 at 9 PM ET on ABC.
