A Second Anti-Gay Group Liberty Counsel Challenges California 'Ex-Gay' Therapy Ban

As if a lawsuit was not enough, a second lawsuit was filed by an anti-gay group Liberty Counsel against the ban of "ex-gay" therapies.

Last week, another anti-gay group already decided to challenge this ban signed by California Governor Jerry Brown which prohibits minors to follow such therapies with licensed psychologists and professional therapists.

Today, it is Liberty Counsel, an international nonprofit litigation, education, and policy organization, which thinks that this law violates freedom of speech and religion.

Once again, this kind of approach has a little chance to succeed because the APA (American Psychological Association) in particular recognized this kind of therapy as very dangerous.

It reports that "efforts to change sexual orientation are unlikely to be successful and involve some risk of harm."

Finally to finish, it would seem that New Jersey thinks of a same law.
