A Woman Lost Her Job Because She May Be A Lesbian

Written by

A woman lost her job at the Charleston youth center in Virginia because she may be a lesbian.

After they took a look on the Facebook profile of Jessica Hudson, the board members started to think she was lesbian and fired her.

Hudson had obtained a job as chief executive of the Bob Burdette Center in Charleston where she worked since June 29th.

She asks from now on unspecified punitive damages, compensatory damages, "front pay and back pay," and an order barring the center from discriminating as reports the Charleston GazetteCharleston Gazette.

Rick Brown, her lawyer, refused to confirm if she is a lesbian.
He said: "The reason she was fired is because she was perceived as being a lesbian. Whether she is or not is immaterial."

The lawsuit of Mrs. Hudson indicates that the center board said she had "inconsistencies" in her resume and had made "misrepresentations" during her interviews.
