Anti-Gay Group Released A Poll Showing Big Support For LGBT Rights

Written by

An anti-LGBT Christian group, LifeWay, organized a poll in the United States in order to know if americans support gay rights.

I acknowledge that I don't see the interest of such an approach since other polls have already, on several occasions, shown the population takes a stand in favour of equality. Moreover their approach turned out to be unfruitful since the result showed to advantage an important support.

Indeed, this poll shows a big majority, 64%, thinks "homosexuality is a civil rights issue like gender, race and age", that "it is inevitable that same-sex marriage will become legal throughout the United States" and that 80% are in disagreement to allow employers to discriminate based on sexual preference.

The poll also shows that "more Americans do not believe homosexual behavior is a sin than those who believe it is a sin."
