Anti-Gay Pastor Wilfredo de Jesus Wants The Mayor's Seet in Chicago

Written by

In Chicago, an anti-gay pastor wishes to be elected mayor.

Rev. Wilfredo de Jesus, pastor of New Life Covenant Church, will announce his candidacy Thursday. It follows another reverend, Reverend James Meeks, pastor of a large Baptist church in Chicago.

Both already have a story as homophobes.

Jesus said that marriage should be limited to heterosexual couples and describes the project of a high school in Chicago for its LGBT students as "a form of segregation."

The election will take place in February. Chicago, cross your fingers that these two are not elected!
