The movement’s website, wewontgoback.us, provides unique resources for supporters to increase democratic engagement, including more than a dozen prominent non-profit organizations in need of donations, ways to contact Members of Congress, and a survey that prioritizes the top social issues of participants for future engagement.
“November 8, 2016 was a turning point for our nation,” said Mr. Milrad. “Millions of Americans are deeply troubled and even frightened by the results, and many wonder if America still has a place for them. We Won’t Go Back proves definitely that it does, while providing a crucial space for people of all backgrounds to actively build a more inclusive, hopeful future.”
Causes featured on the site include women’s rights, immigration reform, LGBTQ rights, climate change, civil liberties, gun safety, animal protection, and many others. A promotional video featuring diverse Americans and influencers will be filmed on Monday, November 21, 2016 and released later this year.
