Couples Try To Be Recognized In Montana

Written by

Six of the same-sex couples decided to fight for the recognition of their relationships in Helena.

ACLU indicated that the goal of the lawsuit engaged by these couples is to obtain the same legal protections as the straight couples offered by the marriage for them and their families.

The constitution in Montana indicates that the marriage is only between a man and a woman. The Attorney General Steve Bullock tried besides to stop this lawsuit but it will takes place.
