Hawaii House Passed Civil Unions

Good news in Hawaii, the House of Representatives approved civil unions for gay and lesbian couples.

 

The House, by a vote of 31-19, voted in favor of this law.

 

The law advanced into the Senate which last month had already accepted a similar version of the law.

Governor Neil Abercrombie supports the civil unions law and will sign it.

The law should be voted by of the senate in the week.
