Governor of Illinois Pat Quinn indeed requested from the House of the state to approve the bill which was voted by the Senate on Valentine's Day this year.
"It's time to vote," Quinn said Thursday. "Illinois passing marriage equality into law, I think, sends a great signal to the people of our state and the people of America. So it's important to Illinois (that) the House of Representatives get going."
Now our eyes are on Illinois where 60 votes will be necessary in the House to pass the measure.
