LGBT rights defenders call for repeal of Nevada's marriage equality bill in the state constitution

Written by

Despite the legalization of marriage equality by the Supreme Court of the United States, many states such as Nevada have retained the same-sex marriage ban in state laws even if they are invalid.

LGBT rights defenders are now asking Nevada legislators to repeal these inapplicable laws.

Let us hope that the legislators will agree to hear their request. Thirty-one states had similar laws before the decision of the Supreme Court.
