New Hampshire To Recognize Out-Of-State Equal Marriages

A request for clarification on the recognition of the out-of-state same-sex marriages was sent by the New Hampshire's House to the governor Maggie Hassan.

By approving this motion by a 217-119 vote, the House decided to allow a recognition of the out-of-state marriage equality. New Hampshire allowed the equal marriages in 2010. An attempt to repeal the law failed in 2012.

There are very strong chances so that the governor Hassan signs this bill into law since she supports marriage equality.

To note that this motion will also allow same-sex couples of other states of being able to marry in New Hampshire if they wish it.
