New York First Gay Marriages Broke The Record

Written by

A lot of joy and emotions during this weekend in New-York as the first marriages have took place.

As I indicated it last week, the city's officials wanted to organize a lottery to select the couples who could marry this Sunday, but finally this lottery was cancelled because some couples decided to wait a few days.

823 couples have been married with a majority of gay and lesbian couples breaking the record of 2003 with 621 marriages of straight couples.
