North Carolina House Passed Referendum On Gay Marriage

The House of North Carolina approved a voter referendum in 2012 to ban gay marriage of the constitution of the state.

The bill passed by a vote of 75-42 and moves now towards the Senate.

If it passes, voters will be invited to vote in May 2012.
