Poll Shows Majority Of Virginians Thinks Same-Sex Marriage Should Be Legal

What's going on in American states which didn't pass a marriage equality law yet? Here results of a poll in Virginia where, now, more than a majority of the population is favorable to a bill which would legalize marriage for same-sex couples.


Indeed, contrary to a May 2011 poll which indicated that 46% of Virginians thought gay couples should get married.


Now, 56% are favorable to the law with 75% of Democrats, 56% of Independent and 40% of Republicans.
