For the first time, a county created an LGBT commission!

A few days ago, one wondered whether the San Mateo county was going or not to have a commission which would concentrate on LGBT questions. And well the answer is yes.

The council voted besides unanimously in favour of its creation.

This commission will be made up of nine members who will take their positions on July 1st for a 3-years duration.

According to The Bay Area Reporter, the commission, gay college student Jason Galisatus predicted, will "bring about sweeping changes to the Peninsula." Wow! One waits to see that!
