Sixth Challenge Launched In Indiana

Written by

Amy Sandler Niki Quasney

A lesbian couple, of which one is terminally ill, she was diagnosed in 2009 with ovarian cancer, decided to join the challenges against the marriage equality ban of Indiana and federal judge Richard Young decided to hear their case.

Amy Sandler and Niki Quasney thus launch out in the battle to try to legalize marriage equality in Indiana and to also allow the identification of the same-sex unions performed in other states.

As reports The Indystar, unlike the other same-sex couples taking part in the suit, Sandler and Quasney are requesting immediate recognition of their marriage via a temporary restraining order.

But this recognition, which could be granted to Amy and Niki, will not mean that all the marriages will be recognized. It does not matter, that makes a sixth lawsuit against Indiana's ban. Come on, one will succeed in repealing this law!
