Some Travel Compagnies Stopped To Fund Anti-Gay Group

Important travel companies decided to stop funding an anti-gay group.

When consumers purchase they have the possibility to donate a part of their purchases to non-profits companies among which there is an anti-gay group called Christian Values Network (CVN). and launched a campaign in order to push the travel companies to stop the financing this organization.

"In a tight economy, summer travelers will be very careful where to spend their hard-earned dollars."

"They may think twice if they know that these companies are supporting bigotry," Andre Banks, the cofounder of AllOut, said.

Currently, Sandals Resorts, the Westin Hotel Group, Radisson and Country Inns & Suites and stopped their business with CVN. AllOut added that and Avis car rentals are on the way to do it.

AllOut also said that there are nontravel companies which have a partnership with this anti-gay group but Apple, Microsoft, REI, Macy’s, Delta Airlines, BBC America and Wells Fargo stopped it. This is not the case for Lord & Taylor, Kmart, Target, Koh'ls, Turbo Tax and Staples.
