That's a lot of gay candidates for the City-County Council race in Indianapolis!

It is not one, nor two but three candidates, openly gay and lesbian, who want to be elected at the City-County Council of Indianapolis.

Zach Adamson (pictured on the left), 40, Todd Woodmansee, 38, and Jackie Leigh Butler, 55, all three democrats, are motivated to change the republican leadership of these four last years concentrating on quality of life, economic development and the opposition to privatization deals.

Victory Fund spokesman Denis Dison said winning local elections would be "a sign that the LGBT community is organized and can support candidates at that level. It also provides a voice for the community on the body the candidate is going to serve on."
