The Indiana's House Passed The Constitutional Marriage Equality Ban

The Representatives of the House of Indiana approved the constitutional ban on marriage equality.

This is from a 57-40 vote that the ban was approved. It remains to be seen whether the Senate will pass it too.

The only good news is that the ban has been rewritten to allow civil unions so the process is much longer and LGBT rights advocates have planned to send equal marriage to the Ballot in November 2016.

The decision of the voters will be made therefore before the final approval of the law.
