The Marriage Equality Ban Was Repealed In Kansas!

A federal judge ruled the marriage equality ban contrary to the constitution of the state.

Kansas is part of the 10th circuit. The judge said this is also because the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals recently ruled Utah and Oklahoma marriage equality bans unconstitutional, that he decided to repeal the prohibition of Kansas.

However, he does not allow same-sex couples to marry since he put a one-week hold to allow an appeal. Last week, Kansas Attorney General Derek Schmidt already said in a statement that the state would appeal the decision if it repeals the ban.
