The Michigan House Approved The Religious Freedom Act Which Allows Discrimination Against LGBT People

Written by

The Michigan House approved a bill that would allow discrimination of LGBT persons protected by religious belief.

The Religious Freedom Act would therefore allow companies to refuse to serve LGBT people but more seriously, it could also be allowed in the medical or educational field.

Representatives approved it by a 59-50 vote. Remains to be seen if the Senators will do the same.
