The Supreme Court Upholds The "Gay-Conversion" Therapy Ban To Minors In New Jersey

The Supreme Court rejected a challenge to repeal the New Jersey legislation prohibiting minors to undergo «gay-conversion» therapies.

The law was signed by Governor Christ Christie in 2013. Therapists and advocates of «sexual orientation change» had then launched a procedure to overturn this law. A federal court, judges of the 3rd Circuit Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court rejected the challenge and upheld the ban.

Recently, the #BornPerfect campaign for a federal ban was launched by the National Center for Lesbian Rights.

California and the District of Columbia also prohibit these anti-gay therapies to minors.
