A new discriminatory bill was voted by the Virginia House. This one indeed allows groups of students in public universities to only accept members committed to their religious or political missions.

The House easily approved the measure by a 80-19 vote.

"This bill is not about religion," gay Senator Adam Ebbin told The Virginian-Pilot.

"Under this bill, student groups benefiting from our taxpayer dollars can deny me mbership to students for any reason, from religion to sexual orientation" while taking away colleges' oversight ability".
