W.W. Bridal Boutique has discriminated a lesbian couple again

The owner of a Pennsylvania wedding dress store, W.W. Bridal Boutique, refused to serve a lesbian couple because her Christian faith does not allow her to "believe in that."

Shannon Kennedy and Julie Ann Samanas, who plans to marry in March 2018, were looking for a wedding dress. They visited the W.W. Bridal Boutique in Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania and filled out the form on their budget, the bride's name and the groom that they crossed out to clarify that it is a wedding between two women. Then an employee questioned them to know if the dress was for a same-sex wedding. Shannon and Julie Ann answered yes, the employee said they could go and buy their dresses elsewhere.

Shocked on the spot, Shannon and Julie Ann did not react and walked out. Later, they shared their story on Facebook. The good news is that following this post, they received a lot of support which helped to soften the blow.

This is not the first time that W.W. Bridal Boutique discriminates a couple of women. We already talked about a case in 2011.
