Wisconsin's Attorney General Appealed Court's Ruling On Equal Marriage Ban

Written by

JB Van Hollen, Attorney General of Wisconsin, has appealed the federal-court's decision which overturned the equal marriage.

Last month, U.S. District Judge Barbara Crabb ruled the marriage equality ban in Wisconsin as unconstitutional. A week later, the judge decided to stay her decision pending the Attorney General's appeal. This is done!

The case now heads to the 7th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals which will begin hearing the marriage equality case of Indiana in August.
