Wyoming Rejected Marriage Equality And Domestic Partnerships Bills

Written by

In Wyoming, three bills were introduced with, first of all, a bill to legalize marriage equality in the state, then a bill to recognize domestic partnerships and finally, the third bill prevented any discrimination.

We do not know yet the results for the bill aiming at prohibiting discriminations sudden by the LGBT community but unfortunately, the marriage equality and domestic partnerships bills were both rejected.

The Wyoming House Corporations Committee rejected by a vote 5-4 the bill on marriage equality but, on the other hand, it approved the domestic partnerhsips. This bill was immediately subjected to the House controlled by Republicans who didn't approved this proposition by 34-25.
