In Knoxville, Tennessee, a fire at the XYZ club, a gay bar, is still suspect.

According to The Knoxville Journal, last Sunday, a motorist reported a fire at the rear of the gay bar.

"Firefighters were called to the scene, and found the covered, outside eating area on fire, which had not yet breached the exterior wall to the inside of the building, but had jumped from the deck area of 1215 to the adjacent building next door, which occupied Knoxville Barber College. The fire was controlled to the exterior of both buildings".

Is this a hate crime? The investigation is ongoing ...

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms was also contacted to assist in this investigation.

Those who would have information are invited to contact the Knoxville Fire & Explosion Unit at 865-637-1386.
