Writer, director and producer Arnetta Randall is back with a new web series. "Hook-Ups" showcases people from all backgrounds, gender expression, and sexual orientation. For the project to start, Arnetta launched a fundraising campaign.

"Hook-Ups" explores modern dating practices. In the first season, you will be able to discover straight, lesbian and gay couples who all want to find love.

"Hook Ups originated from my desire to showcase the dating lives of people I don’t usually see," Arnetta said.

"I wanted to create a queer web-series with people of color that felt honest. I wanted to see a story about a dark skin, voluptuous black woman, so I wrote episode 3. I read a lot about femme-phobia, so I wrote episode 5 that follows an effeminate gay man. I wanted to use comedy as a means to explore identity, gender, and sexuality."

It looks like a great series! I can't wait to discover it!

"Hook-Ups" is an independent project, it needs a little help at the financial level. Arnetta launched a fundraising campaign on Indiegogo:
