Jillian Armenante, out screenwriter, director, producer and also actress (Stoic Entertainment), recently released a new comedy web series «Kittens In A Cage» which follows a group of women in prison.

After the series «Bad Girls» and «Orange Is the New Black», here is «Kittens In A Cage», a comedy that follows a group of women in Marquetta State Prison.

The story, which takes place in the 50s, begins with Junie (Rebecca Mozo) at her trial, she is then conducted in the prison where she meets other women. The years pass, Jeanine (Rebecca Field) desperately tries to seduce Junie by all means, but without success because Junie only has eyes for Vickie (Erin Anderson). Some sexual tension, that is sure to delight you, develops between Junie and Vickie throughout the episodes. As in any prison, you have a nasty girl and Barbara the cannibal (Jillian Armenante) plays magnificently this role.

As in «Orange Is the New Black», we discover over the episodes why these women are in prison with flashbacks which allows us to better understand the characters. Some burlesque flashbacks are sure to make you laugh.

There are some great surprises in the cast in both the main cast and the guests. For example, we see Hollywood actress Michelle Monaghan.

This series consists at present of seven episodes of about 19 minutes. Distributed by TV4 Entertainment, episodes of «Kittens In A Cage» are available on Hulu, Vimeo On Demand and Amazon Instant Video.
