Singer Cyndi Lauper Helps To Open The True Colors Bronx Center For Homeless LGBT Youth

The singer Cyndi Lauper will help in opening a center for homeless LGBTQ youth in the Bronx.

The center will be named after one of her songs as it will be called True Colors Bronx. It will accommodate 30 LGBTQ youth.

“I am honored to work with them and to witness how the True Colors Residence impacts the lives of these young people and provides them a pathway to live the happy, healthy and productive lives they deserve,” Lauper said in a statement .

The youth center project follows another that the singer was launched in 2010 in New York.
