Pope Francis Wants To Promote Family Values Based On Marriage

Written by

Now that we have a new Pope, it missed only his first words about marriage equality.

A few days ago, Pope Francis decided with the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, that it was necessary to work together to promote family values "based on marriage."

And thus the program will be composed of a promotion of the sacredness of life "and the stability of families founded on marriage."

However, Pape Francis didn't qualify, contrary to his predecessors, marriage as being an union between a man and a woman but just because he doesn't want to be provocative.

He nevertheless recently opposed the law granting marriage equality and adoption to same-sex couples in France and also opposed the law in UK when it was introduced to the Lords.
